A day at the beach - IN FEBRUARY!!!

This was a beautiful day at the beach. We all actually ended up sunburned this day.

Approximately 6:00a.m. on race day.

Matt & I ran in the Seaside mini-marathon on Sunday, March 1st. In case you can't tell by the sky in the background of these pictures, the weather was not good. It was the coldest March 1st since 1933. It was 37 degrees but with the windchill, it felt like 28-29 degrees. My goal was to finish and to not come in last and I did both so I was happy! The race actually went right by our house so I had kept saying that if it looked like I was going to be last, I was just going to run on through our gate and go home!!
